Hello all. A few days ago my son heard the dreaded F word... He has been using it all day. We are trying to ignore it and we desperately hope it will go away. I worked with children for three years and heard those words quite a bit so I'm not overly concerned that what my son is doing is weird. I think it is a normal stage, you hear a word and you repeat it. Have any of you guys dealt with this? If so how did you handle the situation?

Happy Valentine's Day. I enjoyed spending time with family today and my son had a great day as well. He was so excited to get lots of candy. How was your day? Get anything special?

Events of 2/12/13

Today was just like any other day except today my son was on a pancake kick. He asked for a pancake every hour. Hahaha obviously I didn't give in to his diet requests.
He seemed to be back on the bandwagon as far as potty training goes! He used it all day on his own. I was extremely pleased and my husband was as well.
I made the dreaded grocery list today too. I find it extremely hard to grocery shop for a two week period. I'll never understand how any of you guys can buy enough breakfasts, lunches, and dinners not to mention enough snack items and juices. Its overwhelming to me. I just.... shop. I find we take more than one trip to the grocery store later in the week. Any advice? How do you plan everything out? Thanks for the help.

Issue of the day
Potty Training
My son was doing absolutely wonderful for about two weeks, but this weekend it seems like he stepped back for whatever reason. I had to physically sit him on the potty and wait for him to go but before this he would inform us he had to go and he just went. Any idea as to why he is doing this? Normal behavior? Thanks guys

Where to start? Where to start? It is always really awkward when I'm told  "tell me about yourself", but I'll give it a shot!

My name is Jaimie I am a 24 year old wife and mommy. I really enjoy listening to music. I have my beats on all the time. I love how one simple song can speak so loudly to your mood, explaining exactly how you feel at any moment. I absolutely love to laugh. I find comfort in funny situations and I seem to get along with others that do as well. I left my job as a teacher's assistant, where I worked for three years, to be a stay at home mommy to my beautiful two year old. My wonderful husband works midnights and it was getting rough switching "shifts" I am obsessed with all things that have to do with tattoos. I have 7 so far. Granted, they aren't extravagant or large but they mean something to me. I am really into Zumba. It is a great release and it makes me feel accomplished. This year I've decided to stick to my weight loss resolution and although I've fallen off the wagon a few times already, I think I'm doing alright. At least I can say I'm doing better than past years. I have a best friend who knows me inside and out and I really value her :) I enjoy baking and my little man seems to be catching on as well. He just loves to help me.

I'll admit this was all over the place but this is only the beginning to something big. My journey through this new year. The journey of a young married stay at home mommy. I hope to meet others that can really relate to me. Can't wait to talk with you all. Enjoy!
